Do You Wanna Build a Snow Fort?
This lesson is for 2nd-5th grade students. It covers a range of AZ science standards and connects to math, reading, and social studies concepts. It also incorporates STEAM hands on activities to further the learning.
In this lesson, students will explore and investigate to make predictions about the weather. Students will learn about weather patterns in different regions and use temperature data to solve a real world problem. Students will use academic vocabulary to show their understanding of the content. Kinetic activities will help the students to get hands on experience making a snow fort of their own and practice measuring and building.
