Design a Mouse House
by Sarah Bailey
Students will use the story "The Mice Who Lived in a Shoe" to design and build a new house for the mice. They will work collaboratively to complete this project. The house will have to protect the mice inside from sunlight, wind, and rain. They will test their designs and communicate their findings with the class. This lesson goes along with Open Court ELA curriculum for 2nd grade.
