Crush that Can!
Students will make a connection between force, mass, and acceleration (more so velocity). They will design and conduct an experiment to explain how different sized rocks have different outcomes on aluminum cans, this shows the connection between force and mass. They will follow up with an activity where they drive cars with different masses to see how it affects acceleration.

In this lesson, students will explore the concepts of gear ratios and proportions. They will construct a working gear system and observe how the ratio between gears affects their motion. They will use
Students will create flying helicopter models to change the movement and motion by changing different variables. Changing the movement of an object requires a net force to act upon it. This lesson
This lesson is designed for students to conduct research in teams to create the best catapult that can launch a mini dog bone the farthest. Students use the engineering design process to create their
