Creating a 3D Car in Tinkercad
This lesson plan will introduce students to the basics of 3D modeling and design using Tinkercad and allow them to apply their skills to create a model car. It will also help them develop their problem-solving and critical thinking skills by overcoming design challenges.
Materials:
Computers with internet access
Tinkercad accounts for each student (if your school does not have Tinkercad accounts for students, you can create a free teacher account and create student accounts within it)

Technology 3. Knowledge Constructor Engineering S2: Apply the Engineering Design ProcessRelated Content
In this lesson students will use the Engineering Design Process to create a working foosball table. Students will also code a Micro:bit that they will use to keep score between the two teams.
In this lesson, students work with an assigned customer to create a 3D-printed nameplate. Working through the steps of the engineering design process, students use a 3D modeling software, Tinkercad
This lesson uses the knowledge of circuits (lessons 1 and 2) to make a battery-powered car. We used a tutorial from Tinkercad and designed our own body of a car. Then, I printed their cars. They
