Constructing a Color Sorter with Wonder Dash Robot
by Luz-Maria Van Daam
The lesson objective to introduce students to the engineering process. Students will be able to implement basic engineering concepts and problem-solving skills using the Wonder Dash robot and LEGO bricks. The students will work in a small group of 2-3 students to collaboratively to design and build a color sorter using LEGOs and program the Wonder Dash robot to sort different colored objects. Students will finalize their understanding of data classification by counting how many items they sorted of a given color and graph their results.
