Students will predictions about what will happen when two objects collide and compare hypotheses to observations. Also, students will compare what happens when objects made of different materials collide to determine how the makeup of objects affects the impact.

This lesson is for a multi-day project where student groups will plan, design, and build roller coasters out of paper and tape. It tests their knowledge of Physics and Engineering Design.
In the lesson plan, students will embark on an exciting engineering challenge as they construct and program their own robot rovers to strategize a mission to the Moon. Throughout the lesson, students
Understanding and studying energy transfer produced by molecules collisions can be difficult and abstract for them. To make it easier for them to visualize, creating a Newton's Cradle will help them
