Coding: From the Ancients to Modern Times
by Katrina Darg
In this engaging lesson, students will complete a Digital Hieroglyphics escape room. They will also learn how early written language was a form of coding, in that, early civilizations communicated via images (or the like) in the same manner code communicates commands, actions, and behaviors. Students create their own form of written language/ “code” through a short story created by them!
