Cardboard Automaton
by Bridget Hagest
In this activity, you will learn how to create art with moving parts using everyday items like cardboard, skewers, and craft supplies. You will build an automaton- a machine with parts that go up and down, spin in circles, or make other types of movements. The instructions will show you how to build moving Spongebob Squarepants characters, but you can use your imagination to build any animal or object you want!
