Bird Beaks: Chickens vs. Ducks
In this lesson, students will watch a video discussing how birds have different beaks depending on what they eat. Students will then have the opportunity to examine the differences in chickens and ducks' beaks before applying what they learn while they pretend to be hungry birds. Students will work together in small groups to try and eat pretend food. Each group will get two different beaks to experiment with and gain a better understanding that different birds have different types of beaks.
