The Biggest Snowman: Exploring States of Matter and Chemical/Physical Changes with Fake Snow
In this lesson, students cover concepts like states of matter and chemical changes. Students will apply these concepts to an activity where they will make fake snow. Students will be challenged to make the largest snowman. The lesson closes with some data collection and analysis.

The Mystery Box Investigation combines science concepts about properties of matter, how we use and identify matter based on its properties, and the mathematical concepts needed to calculate density

Students will apply physics and engineering principles to design and construct a functional mini-golf course using homemade materials.

Students will build the strongest boat they can using only aluminum foil. They will learn about engineering design, water displacement, the effects of gravity, decimal multiplication, and geometry.
