ASU's Monster Manual: Tinkercad Edition
This lesson expands upon ASU's Ask a Biologist "Monster Manual" Activity to include CAD (Computer-Aided Design). Students learn about DNA and how we inherit traits through an analogy of decoding a monster's "DNA." Once students have discovered what their monster looks like through ASU's "Monster Maker" game, they then receive a tutorial on how to use Tinkercad so that they can create virtual 3D models of their monsters. This lesson would function well in both online and in-person learning formats.
