A Song For a Whale: 3rd Lesson Plan - Glaciers
In this set of lesson plans that go with the novel "A Song for a Whale" by Lynne Kelly, students will focus on glaciers. Activities include size of icebergs, melting glaciers and water levels, along with glacier striations. All of these activities build to the final project of building a boat for speed and cargo that will navigate through a fjord between glaciers just like the pilot in the novel.
