Seed Investigation

This lesson is intended to teach students where seeds come from to grow fruits and vegetables. Students will participate in a seed investigation by reading a story and then finding seeds in various fruits and vegetables. They will then remove the seeds and sort them using the worksheet included. Students will have the opportunity to see examine multiple seeds and focus on how the seeds vary in size, shape, color, number of seeds.
