Sail Design
by Mackenzie Herr
In this engaging and hands-on lesson, students will design and build a sail to put on a raft. They will test the strength of their sail by placing a fan in front of it and seeing if the fan makes the raft move. This lesson offers an excellent opportunity for students work through the engineering design process.
