Objectives:
Describe the role of pollinators and explain their effects
Identify how the life cycle of a plant and a pollinator are connected
Explore the long-term effects of human activities on pollinators.
Summary:
Students will name different pollinators, research a specific native pollinator, and complete a final presentation of their findings.
Agenda:
Two 40 minutes class periods (1 class to research and create, 1 to present)
Challenge students to name pollinators and write them down.
Create a list of native pollinators together as a class
Student-lead pollinator research, complete graphic organizer, create a presentation, and present to class
