Introduction to Rainwater Harvesting: Native Garden Design Lesson 1 of 4

This is the first lesson in a set of four where students work to design a native plant garden using rainwater harvesting principles. In this first lesson, students learn about the ongoing water crisis in Arizona and how rainwater harvesting can help drought regions. Students will watch a video, complete a jigsaw reading activity on a variety of resources and then create a presentation to teach others about what they have learned about what rainwater harvesting is.
