Germination Station

Context: This lesson will take 1 to 1 hour class periods
Students will work in pairs
Students will begin to look at germination of a plant and the plant cycle
This lesson is the first that will lead students from germination to designing the best indoor germination environment.
Materials: Book:
Seeds of Change, by Author: Jen Cullerton Johnson
1 bag of mixed beans
1 box sandwich size baggies
Toilet paper tubes
Napkins or paper towels
6-10 sponges (cut in small pieces)
Baby food jars (or other small jars/containers)
