Dash Around the Table

This is about a one hour lesson where students work in small groups of 2-4 to get their robot around their table using estimation of centimeters.
Supplies needed: Dash robots
Chromebooks or iPads (Bluetooth enabled)
Blockly site or app
masking tape or painters tape
tape measures or meter sticks (for the assessment)
graph paper or blank paper
pencils
Agenda:
Introduce today’s challenge and review what estimation is
Work with your team to develop a plan to meet the challenge
Go one step at a time (one side at a time!)
Using your plan, write a program in Blockly that gets Dash around the table
accomplish one side of the table at a time
Reflect on the process, what went well and what did not
