No votes have been submitted yet.
In this cross grade, multi-curricular three lesson mini-unit students will identify each part of a flower and its function as well as the necessities plants need to thrive. Students will observe the flowering life cycle as they plant seeds and watch the cycle develop, documenting their progress and contributing factors along the way. Students will then learn about pollination and the different types of pollinators, as well as their preferences, through a hands on, long-term classroom gardening project highlighting the natural and human interventions that can affect the flowering habitat, population and future generations of the flower.
