This is an exciting opportunity for an upcoming national STEM Fellowship offering ASAP approved PD Hours for any K-12 teachers interested! CommunityShare is about to launch their next national fellowship for educators, titled the Community Catalyst Educator Fellowship, designed to provide educators with practical, transformative strategies for community-engaged learning. For anyone passionate about bringing real-world STEM projects/applications to their students this is a highly recommended program!

✨This program is completely FREE to educators located anywhere within Pima County since that happens to be within CommunityShare’s network, however it is priced at $500 to educators located anywhere else in AZ. That said, there are a few limited scholarships available to partially cover the cost for those in need!

✨It will be a five month, virtual fellowship commencing on Saturday January 27th, and will feature a community engaged learning deep-dive (valid for 15 PD Hours), a supportive network of educators, one-on-one coaching and support, and opportunities to showcase your work globally. You will also get to design, implement, and reflect on one illuminating community-engaged learning experience to create engaged and authentic learning for your students!

In addition, the 15 PD Hours worth of learning deep dive virtual sessions will take place on the following days, over the course of two weeks!

🤝- Wednesday, January 31st, Evening session

🤝- Saturday, February 3rd, Half day session

🤝- Wednesday, February 7th, Evening session

✨Though this fellowship is entirely virtual, we will consider any PD Hours obtained through this fellowship valid as in-person ASAP PD Hours as well! It is preferred if you have 2+ years of experience teaching to apply, and in addition to the PD Hours you’ll obtain you can fulfill some additional ASAP requirements by participating in this Fellowship as well!

• Any STEM based lesson plans that you develop over the course of this Fellowship can be turned in as ASAP lesson plans as well, as long as they include all of the parts from the ASAP Lesson Plan Template.
• The community-engaged learning experience that you create and implement into your classroom can count as your ASAP STEM project, as long as there is a strong focus on STEM and students are impacted. Be sure to take photos of your project as well for the End of Year report!
