Moon Phases Flipbook
by Kendra Buchta
This lesson will take your students through the process of making a lunar phases flipbook. When flipped it will be animated and look like the moon going through each phase. Students will learn the importance of our Moon and each of its phases. They will determine what are the major and secondary lunar phases. They will come up with a math equation to figure out how many days are in each phase. They will use art to draw each day of the moon phase and label the phase, and the day.
