Design a Cup Part 2
In this 2nd lesson in a series of 2, students will continue the work on their cup design. They will analyze features of water cups for how effective they are at keeping our water cold while we are at school. Following the engineering design process, students will then use this knowledge to design and build a container of their own to attempt to keep ice water cold, for as long as possible.

Students will learn about the difference between potential and kinetic energy by building a ramp. Three objects will be tested down the ramp to see which one can go the farthest. Data will be
A Shocking Dystopia: STEM Adventures in The City of Ember Part 2 of 4: A Way to See in the Dark
This lesson is PART 2 of a four-lesson unit, which focuses on futures thinking, the phenomenon of electricity, closed-system agriculture, and water as a renewable energy resource. “The City of Ember”
In this lesson plan, students will be able to build a simple electric motor and study how simple changes affect the motor's rotation. They will learn how energy comes in many forms, and how electric
