Cooling Structure Challenge Part 1
This challenge focuses on teamwork and the engineering process. Students will work in groups of 3-4 to research, design, build, test, and reflect upon their cooling structure. Work will be completed within budget constraints, a minimum floor space, and a temperature to mimic a real-world situation. Look for part 2 of this challenge to further incorporate the science and engineering process into your challenge. Additionally, the use of this challenge is flexible and can be scaled up and down for time use and grade.

This is a continuation of lessons 1, 2 and 3. Students will test their cars for distance and speed. Students will add weight to the car and test for distance and speed again to determine if their car
In this lesson the students will apply the knowledge of thermal energy to design, build and test a container that keeps cold beverages cold.
Today students will design a mini golf hole. Their hole theme should be based on the inventor they researched.
