Air Rocket Engineering
In this lesson, students will be introduced to the phenomenon of paper/air pressure rocketry. Students will make a memorable and hands-on connection with the transfer of energy when they create and launch their rockets. Students will also experience the engineering design process while they work to improve their rockets with a specific goal in mind (such as reaching a higher altitude.)

When Res is hurling towards Mars, he needs a parachute that will help him land safely. Can you design a parachute that will help Res land safely on Mars? Students will design a parachute using coffee
In this creative lesson, students will design and build a Rube Goldberg Energy Transfer Project. They will work within a group over 1-2 weeks and create a presentation to demonstrate the energy
Students will discover: I put rotted food into a container with earthworms, where did the food go?
